Our vision
In the first half of the 20th century Hoogeveld was gradually transformed from heathland to woodland. From the 70’s in the Netherlands systematic initiatives were started to build parks with houses for recreation. At that time also the Hoogeveld was transformed into a recreational forest park with vacation homes and sports facilities. The park consists of generous plots of often more than 1000m2 with a private house on each plot. The homes in the park were built in different phases. The northwest side has remained undeveloped for a long time, allowing forest growth to continue. The main tree species present today are Scots pine and birch. Central in this forest area is an old gully that has been reactivated. Various plots of land have been issued around the gully in order to build vacation villas in a natural / forest context.

Our approach
The family of forest villas matches the existing houses in the park in terms of size, roof and direction. Making them part of the whole. Unlike the existing houses, the houses are made entirely of wood, bio-based, energy-neutral and have a maximum indoor/outdoor relationship with the surrounding landscape due to the large windows and roof overhangs. The ultimate place to spend a day, week or perhaps forever in green tranquility.
